The Famous Floridian convention

        They are back. The people who changed the way the United States is today. They came back for the ultimate famous Floridian convention right here at WPS.

The convention was a blast but there are three people who I have to tell you about. The first person I will tell you about is John Gorrie. John has invented the air conditioner that is very useful for us Floridians because the climate over here is very hot. The air conditioner keeps us cool which is great. Another person who really changed the day of today was Thomas Edison. Edison invented the light bulb, telegraph, photograph, and many more those things are very useful for today mostly the light bulb. The light bulb is something most of the people use that gives us the light that helps us see. The last  person I want to talk about is Walt Disney. Walt created Disney land and Disney World I think he is important is because because he helped the tourism in Florida and he also created theme parks that would make dreams come true.

I think that the famous Floridian convention was a blast. I hope we will have the luck to do this again. I really liked that the teachers surprised us with some orange juice. It tasted delicious.
