Florida Changers

Hi, today I am going to talk about Famous Floridians. These Florida Changers came to our 4th grade class. There were some famous inventors like John Gorrie and Thomas Edison too and everyones favorite Walt Disney! ( Walt Disney created Walt Disney World.)

I thought that the Famous Floridians project was fun. People dressed up and brought in props. At first students from another class came to our class to watch us present. Then we went to their class to watch them present, it was very informative learning about such great people who contributed to human society.

I think that Henry Plant's contributions affected more than Henry M. Flagler's contributions.Henry Plant contributed more things than Henry M. Flagler. Henry Plant's hotels were much more popular than Henry M. Flagler's.

Other than John Gorrie whom I presented I got to learn about Thomas Edison, Henry M. Flagler, Julia Tuttle, Henry Plant, Vincente Martinez Ybor, Alfred du Pont, Edball, James Weldon Johnson, Marjorie Kinnan Rawlings, Mary Mcleod Bethune, Walt Disney, Harry T. Moore, and Lue Gim Gong.
