Back In Time

  Back in Time- April 18, 2014: 

   

                                                    Here is my blog for social studies.  Today I'm blogging about the famous Floridians covention. On Friday, 16 famous Floridians came to WPS.  Here is what happened....

 

 

                One of the most famous people for Florida came.  Can you guess?  Yes Walt Disney came.  Also a man who built 8 hotels.  Can you guess?  Yes Henry B. Plant came too. Here is one more Floridian.  And a man who made the light bulb and 1,000's others.  Can you guess?  Yes Thomas Edison came.  Those are not just all, there so many others.

 

 

            I think all the Floridians did great, but one of my favorite's was Henry B. Plant.  Do you know why?  Because he was a great man who did great things for Florida.  Also why he was one of my favorites is because he he built railroads and he worked on a steamboat when he was young . All of the Floridians were great!!

 

 

 

            I loved the convention. It was awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
