              Hello, today I am going to blog about a famous Floridian convention. These Floridians changed Florida forever and so on. At the convention 14 famous Floridians showed up. Some of these Floridians include Walt E. Disney, Henry M. Flagler, and Mary McLeod Bethune. I think that Mary M. Bethune was very well dressed for the convention. I thought that the convention was tremendously fun. Lastly I thought that the props were really cool.

                        I think that Walt E. Disney increased much more popularity in Florida than Henry M. Flagler. I thought that because Walt built something for tourists not for a place to sleep for a night or a week like Henry M. Flagler. I still think that Mary McLeod Bethune was the best dressed. She had lipstick on and nice high heels She also had a nice dress. The last opinion and blog is that at the convention the projects were the best I had ever seen. They had speeches just ready to say and they wrote such a long speech and they worked so hard on their projects.

Hello my name is Caroline and this is my blog on a convention called the famous Floridians convention.

Just a few days ago my class had a Floridian convention where we pretended to be famous Floridians. I was chief Osceola. There were other people like Julia Tuttle, Harry T. Moore, and Henry M. Flagler.

             I think that Thomas Edison’s Laboratory is more important than his light bulb. I think this because without the Lab, the light bulb wouldn’t even exist. I also agree that John Gorrie’s air conditioner is one of the important inventions. I think this because without it a lot of people would have died of yellow fever. My last opinion is that Walt Disney’s Park is one of the most important things to Florida’s economy, because without it more than a million people wouldn’t visit Florida in the summer.

Hello, I am Marjorie Kinnan Rawlings and I would like to tell you about a great and fun Famous Floridian convention. I think you will learn a little bit about Famous Floridians and at the same time, you will know what happened at the convention.

At the convention, I got to meet some interesting people. The people I met were Walt Disney, Thomas Edison, and Julia Tuttle. Walt Disney created a theme park known as Walt Disney World. Thomas Edison was the inventor of over 1,000 inventions including the light bulb. Julia Tuttle is one of the main reasons that Miami became a city. It was great meeting these Famous Floridians.

I think Henry Flagler was more important than Henry Plant because Flagler helped develop Miami which was once wilderness. While Henry Plant built hotels, he never built a city from wilderness.

I also think the convention was the first and best convention I have ever gone to. I hope you liked my blog.

BIG PARTY FOR HARD WORKERS:

Today I am writing a blog about a Famous Floridian Convention in Windermere, Florida. The Floridians have come back from the dead. These people include…… Walt Disney, Henry Flagler, Alfred du Pont and more!!!!

         In the convention many different Floridians came to talk about their contributions to Florida. Mary McLeod Bethune still looked like she was in her forties. In her speech she talked about her experiences as a teacher. I also loved how Walt Disney talked about producing movies. Walt Disney had as much words in his project as awards. I also liked Edward Ball’s words. Did anyone know he bought two million acres of land and four thousand more surrounding Wakulla Spring.

         I think the most important invention was Thomas Edison’s light bulb. It would never be the same without the light bulb. At night we would have had to use candles and that isn’t half as good as the light bulb. Most people used a candle back then (1800’s – 1900’s), which only lit up a tiny space. It could also catch fire or burn you. The convention was one of the most fun times at school, the Floridians would agree.

I had lots of fun at the famous Floridian convention that we had at school. I wish our class could have the famous Floridian Convention again. It was a great experience to do this.

At the convention we told a little bit about ourselves , and our contributions to Florida.

Henry plant was there so was Ed ball and Harry T Moore. My opinion of the convention is that it was very fun and exciting learning all new things about some famous Floridians. Mary Mcleoude Bethune A.K.A Kameron had a really funny costume with the lipstick and everything else he had on.
